“Dental treatment is inappropriate when pregnant. Is it true?”

It depend on its’ kind. For pregnant women inappropriate is to use laser and ultrasound equipment. If surgical or root canal treatment is necessary, you have to reckon with that it’s not possible to use x-ray before and after a cure. Special situation have women being in third trimester of pregnancy (especially endangered). It’s not recommended to carry out more than necessary dental treatments with using only local anesthetic and avoiding sedation and vasoconstrictors.

Important advice: before a dental treatment report to your dentist in which trimester you are and how your pregnancy proceed (especially if for example you take hormonal medicines)
